Manhattan's streets are arranged through a system of repeated lines, blocks and intersections. The grid gives the city its distinct rhythm — ordered, dense and constantly in motion.
NYC-01 translates this urban structure into jacquard, turning the geometry of Manhattan's streets into a tactile surface.

The city's geographical coordinates become ARKIVIN's signature cross-axis — a small detail that marks the archive within the textile.

BUTTON CLOSURE
